A 20-year old man from Cameroon has been arrested after trying to pass through Paphos airport with a fake passport.
The man, who was attempting to board a flight to Brussels, presented a fake French passport to immigration staff. He is thought to have bought the document in north Cyprus.
Last week three people were arrested at the same airport, after being discovered attempting to leave the country with false papers.
An Iraqi man, aged 46 and his wife, 41, and their 16-year-old daughter were attempting to board a flight to Germany.
They were understood to have entered Cyprus either on illegal documents, or via the Buffer Zone.
